Something Personal:

We all have a unique love story and the way Casey & I met was through a guy who wanted to date me but I was not interested in him.  After walking over 8 miles on a weekly basis to visit my house, just to have me turn him away, he finally decided to bum a ride off of one of his neighbors.  That neighbor?  You guessed it.  It was Casey.

We were married young.  I was just a month shy of 18 and Casey had just turned 19.  Our lives were forever changing as we prepared to welcome our oldest daughter into the world.  My baby bump started showing the week of the wedding and we had to make a lot of last minute alterations to my wedding dress.

Our photographer showed up two hours late.  He didn't prep us at all.  He didn't guide us into any poses and completely depended on my mom and me to come up with what we wanted.  His second shooter lost all of the images and the images I did receive, only about two dozen were photos I loved because he washed out my skin tone and didn't attempt at all to hide my baby bump.

To say my wedding photographer helped me decide to create a personal relationship with my couples is an understatement.  I never want my clients to feel lack of communication or unprepared.  With over 220 weddings of experience now, I have created a magazine exclusively for my bride tribe filled with tips, tricks and inspiration to help them feel well prepared for their engagement session and wedding day.  I also have a private Facebook group just for my brides so they can feel personally connected to me that is less formal than an email.

For me, weddings are the beginning chapter to your very own, "And they lived happily-ever-after" and it's my job to help you have the wedding of your dreams. I'll pin your veil, hold your dress, communicate with all the vendors day of and take photos as efficiently as possible so that you can spend more time enjoying your day and creating memories than standing in front of the camera.

A blended latte with an extra shot (no flavoring).  From SCOOTER'S, of course!

Gold sparkly, blush & peach tones, cream and sea foam.

I'm originally from Anaheim, CA but call this small town, Kansas life home.

I love choreographing dance routines. I coach my daughters' cheer team & privately coach dance to them as well.  My choreography has taken five National titles.

Being a mom was my dream job. I started this whole photography journey in order to quit working at a bank that barely paid more than what daycare cost me. My passion for photos allows me to do something I absolutely love while still being a stay at home , home schooling mom Monday-Friday

I believe in love at first sight.

I was almost 15 when I met Casey.  A year later, he came over because he was "in the neighborhood" and he pulled me in for a hug. I didn't know what the feeling was I had in my heart but looking back, that was the moment my soul let me know that Casey would be the one I was meant to be with.
