I’ve known Lauren since…gosh, a long time. I think she was about the same age as my middle daughter when I first met her. Maybe even younger. I was her cheer coach and our families became friends. So this wedding definitely has a special place in my heart.
Lauren and her bridesmaids got ready at The Highlands’ bridal suite. So much excitement and laughter was happening, we could hear them when we entered the building. They all helped one another get ready and ooohhed and ahhhed when we did a reveal with Lauren in her dress.
Lauren asked if she could do a first look with her dad as well. Walter’s expression when he saw his baby girl in her wedding dress for the first time was the BEST. Oh my goodness! The happy tears were contagious.
Tristen and his groomsmen got ready in the groom’s room across the building and were a little more scattered because of some things that had been forgotten at home or shoes that the tux place forgot to give them. But they were still all smiles and having a good time.
They moved the ceremony indoors due to high winds and it was the right move. I don’t think it could have been any prettier of a setting. The lighting, the fireplace, the intimate space was just perfect for these two to become husband and wife. They incorporated their children into the sand ceremony so four different colors were used to combine into one jar. It was such a sweet moment!
They ended the evening with a bubble exit with their closest family and friends there to send them off into their happily, ever after. Let’s relive some of their best moments from their day as I continue to work on the full gallery. :). Enjoy this sneak peek!
