One of my favorite things about a wedding day is how much joy is all around. You can feel the love and happiness emanating from their family and friends.
Brian & Madi got ready at the Inn at Meadowbrook. They were just rooms away from one another which allowed us to get photos of both of them getting ready. The guys helped each other get ready while joking around a bit. Madi’s mom helped get her into her dress and then did a reveal with her bridesmaids. Happy tears flowed and hugs followed.
Madi shared a special first look with her dad just moments before the ceremony. Her mom and sisters watched in the distance as Mr. Roberts turned around to see his beautiful daughter. Mrs. Roberts wiped away some tears as she watched her husband embrace Madi. It was such a sweet and beautiful moment.
As Madi and her dad walked down the aisle, Brian choked back tears and just stared at his bride with care in his eyes. Since they were married in the Catholic Church, the Mass was focused on Jesus being the center of the relationship. How their relationship even started because of church so they have a full circle back to God. Father talked about how he had asked each of them what they loved most about each other. Both of them answered how they love each other’s eyes and how the other has helped them grow in their relationship with God.
They exited the church to ribbon wands and an adorable getaway car. They had some downtime after photos to enjoy one another’s presence and soak in the memories from the day before they were announced at the reception.
The reception kicked off with appetizers and drinks during cocktail hour. Once dancing began, almost everyone was out on the dance floor having the time of their lives as they celebrated the holy union of their best friends. <3
