You might recall these high school sweethearts from a couple of months ago. Their family & friends hid in the distance as Ian got down on one knee to ask Victoria to marry him. And everyone around them applauded and screamed, “FINALLY!” as laughter and tears filled the chilly air.
Victoria stumbled across my Instagram over a year ago. We started following each other and getting to know each other a little bit. Social media is so neat because we get to meet all of these people we probably wouldn’t have ever come across in real life. When her friend took her to the bridal expo in January, we finally met in person and hugged immediately. She’s genuinely kind and full of a love for life that is contagious.
This weekend, they had their engagement session in downtown, Wichita. We started at the Crown Uptown and ended at the Wichita Boathouse.
The warm, spring day couldn’t have been any more perfect for their love story. They’ve been together for years and the love they share is so sweet and kind. Ian looks at Victoria with such love and respect and she gets him to smile easily with her laughter.
They are going to be tying the knot on New Year’s Eve and they are planning a huge celebration with all of their family and friends. What better way to ring in the New Year than walking into it hand in hand as Mr. & Mrs.?
I am so excited to be a part of their celebration this December! In the meantime, I’ll be swooning over their engagement images to hold me over. Here is a little sneak peek into their session. 🙂
And don’t forget to stop by my booth at the Wichita Bridal Expo July 25th & 26th to see my art in person and to get to know me a bit. Maybe you’ll even join the #SaraRiethBrideTribe too. <3
Don’t they look so dang happy?
Sometimes, you just have to have a little bit of fun…
I swear, we didn’t plan it but her blue dress went perfectly with the Crown Uptown location they chose. 🙂
Black and whites are so timeless and romantic.
Poppin’ the bubbly because they’re getting married!!!! 🙂
