Romantic Storytelling, Fine Art Wedding Photographer

Ben & Melissa’s intimate wedding day was beautiful.  Ben was so excited.  He had a bounce in his step andtold me he was a little nervous.  Melissa got ready downstairs

with her sister, mom and daughter as she fought back the nerves.  Melissa’s father paced back and forth all over the church and couldn’t stop talking about how anxious he was and how happy he was that his daughter had found her prince charming.

The church organ played and Ben escorted his family down the aisle.  After his best man and her maid of honor walked down, Ben held his breath and placed his hands to his mouth.  There she was, standing there with her father looking so proud.  She wore a veil over her face and her father lifted it before kissing her cheek.

They chose to have the ceremony be a full Mass.  Hundreds watched via live stream since they couldn’t be there due to Covid.  Ben & Melissa exchanged vows, rings, lit a unity candle and went over to give Mary a flower.  They took a few moments to stand there in prayer before Ben placed his hand on the small of Melissa’s back and helped her back to the center aisle.  A blessing was placed over them before Father announced them as husband and wife.  They shared their first kiss and then were all smiles as they headed to the back of the church.

They had a small cake to still cut and light refreshments for their closest family & friends to enjoy after family photos were taken.

More family & friends surprised them outside with a bubble sendoff before they headed off into their very own, “And they lived happily-ever-after.”

Ben & Melissa,
What a perfect love story the two of you have.  Starting as friends and growing together into two people who love each other so much.  Thank you for having me be a part of your day.  I am so excited for this new journey you are on and I cannot wait for the big celebration in February. You two deserve the happiest of times!

Enjoy this little sneak peek and congratulations on becoming Mr. and Mrs. Ly!
Yours Truly,
Sara

Ben’s 93 year old grandma was able to join them on their special day. She was smiling so brightly the entire time. 🙂
