Romantic Storytelling, Fine Art Wedding Photographer

Adam and Laura are fun filled souls with a love for one another that will bring a smile to your face. Their beautiful day began at The Farms at Woodend Spring. This venue couldn’t have been a more perfect backdrop for their wedding.  It complimented his tux and her dress perfectly.

Laura and Adam got ready in rooms that were only steps away from one another.  You could feel the excitement they both had just knowing they were so close together.  We sneaked Adam out to set him up for their private first look in front of the barn. When they saw each other, they seemed to relax a bit and smiles came over their faces.

We then headed from Bonner Springs to Kansas City so we could hit up the Kauffman Center for wedding photos.  The lighting behind the architecture was breathtaking and gave all the romantic vibes.

Afterwards, we headed to the church where the couple had the chance to relax for a few minutes.  The ceremony included a candle lighting to signify them leaving their families and becoming one.  After their first kiss, they shared a lot of smiles and laughs as they walked hand in hand back down the aisle.

They were announced into the reception and danced their way to the floor to share their first dance as husband and wife.  Adam twirled Laura around as guests took their phones out to document the moment.  Adam toasted to his beautiful bride and shared a few inspired words about the Chiefs (keep scrolling to see what happened!).  The night ended with a sparkler exit after a big dance party to celebrate the newest Mr. and Mrs.

Adam & Laura,
I cannot express my gratitude enough that you entrusted me with your best day ever.  Everything was beautiful and it was an honor to work with a couple as fun and kind hearted as you two.  I am SO EXCITED to share this sneak peek with you (and really can’t wait to get your gallery done so you can see it all!) 🙂  Have a wonderful time on your honeymoon and safe travels!

Yours Truly,
Sara

Customized cufflinks with the bride’s name on them.

Do we have enough time for another game?

First looks are my fave!

All girls are princesses.

And she found her prince charming.

It’s getting married time! Excitement on their faces as they get ready to leave for the church.

Cream and pale pink bouquets by Floral Accents in Kansas City were the perfect touch for a Valentine’s Weekend wedding.

Kauffman Center was the perfect wedding photo location.

I feel like this would be an amazing Dr. Pepper ad. Nothing says true love and happiness than having a Dr. Pepper by your side on the best day of your life. 🙂

I always encourage my couples to go outside during golden hour to get those dreamy and romantic tones that you can only get that time of day. Plus, it gives them a chance to be alone for a bit.

First dances are so romantic.

After ending his toast with a loud, “How about them Chiefs!!!!?” he revealed his KC gear he changed into after sunset photos. How fun is this?

Does anyone else get teary eyed during the parent dances? I get all sorts of feels. . .

They’re not married until everyone’s on the dance floor!

They say diamonds are a girls’ best friend but I think sparklers can be included in that because they dazzle quite a bit too. 😉
