Romantic Storytelling, Fine Art Wedding Photographer

We easily found the right hotel room as Samantha’s bride tribe excitedly got ready.  Her friends and daughter were pampered and looked absolutely gorgeous! Samantha was filled with so much joy and laughter as we hugged and talked about the amazing day that was taking place.  Samantha is a boudoir photographer and her eye for detail didn’t disappoint.  Her stunning details flowed effortlessly from every aspect of the day.  I’m always honored when a photographer hires me for their big day but I’d be lying if I didn’t share that working for another photographer always makes me more nervous.

They had some fun throwing rose petals as confetti before sipping on some raspberry champagne to toast to love, laughter and happily-ever-afters. After she got dressed, her son, Rowan, came into the room and ran right up to her.  He exclaimed, “You look awesome, mom!” and that seriously was the cutest part of the day!

They shared a first look and had a few moments to themselves before the ceremony began. Matt was all smiles as she walked behind him to tap him on the shoulder.  You could see both of them relax as soon as their eyes locked onto one another’s.

Samantha’s father escorted her down the aisle.  She and Matt both fought back tears.  As they promised their love to one another, their hands were tied together symbolizing unity.  After their first kiss as husband and wife, they both turned to their guests with nothing but pure excitement on their faces.

The happy couple was announced and went straight to their cake table where they kindly fed each other cake before snuggling in close for a toast.  After dinner service, toasts filled the room with emotions and reminiscing.  Matt reached for her hand and led her to the dance floor.  They held each other closely as they swayed side to side.  They both shared dances with their parents before the party kicked off and they danced the night away.

Matt & Samantha,
I’m not sure any other word describes your love for each other more than , “Wowzers!” It’s evident that your love for one another is so strong and real because of the way you both light up the room when you see the other.  It was such an honor to be a part of your love story and to be there to experience all the joyfulness you shared that day.  Thank you for trusting in me with your beautiful day.  I cannot wait to see where life takes you and I hope you had an amazing honeymoon! Enjoy this sneak peek into your big day!

Yours Truly,
Sara

This next image may be my favorite bridal portrait to date. . .

I had to put Matt’s ring to use.  It went perfectly with their invites.

The gorgeous florals provided and styled by Brooke Floral Styling based in North Dakota made a statement as guests arrived.

Mr. & Mrs. Chavez!  Eeek!

Is this little guy the cutest or what!?

After sunset photos, we sneaked into the reception before any guests so they could see the amazing work Addison Grace Events did. Afterwards, they hid as guests finished cocktail hour to come find their table.

And then you had the best man bringing down the house…

A father’s love is a special kind of love.  <3

Mother son dances are always so beautiful.

These beautiful ladies were having a blast at table 1.
