Romantic Storytelling, Fine Art Wedding Photographer

When a bride is surrounded with so much love and joy from her friends and family, you just know it’s going to be one amazing day.

Mikayla’s bridesmaids and mom pampered her as she got ready.  Compliments about her dress, hair and how much Jake was going to love seeing her filled the hotel room.

Once we were at Noah’s, Jake & Mikayla had their first look.  Jake told me he was excited to finally see her and the look on his face when he turned around proved it.

They had a short and sweet ceremony where they shared personal vows and a sand ceremony to symbolize their unity.  They were nothing but huge smiles after their first kiss and it was the sweetest thing!

They partied like rock stars at the reception.  Everyone around seemed to be having an amazing time celebrating the newest Mr. and Mrs. and the Cha Cha Slide heated things up when a few of the groomsmen got all the way to the floor low.  We headed outside for a few photos during sunset and this allowed the happy couple a few moments to be with just one another before heading back inside and dancing the night away.

Jake & Mikayla,
I am so happy that you two found one another.  You seem to mesh perfectly together and it’s easy to see in these photos.  I hope your wedding day was a dream come true and that you enjoy this little sneak peek into your best day ever.  <3

Yours Truly,

Blush tones will forever be my favorite.

First looks are so sweet!

Their wedding party was just a blast to work with!

Y’all know which song this is… 🙂
