Romantic Storytelling, Fine Art Wedding Photographer

The sunny, June day was perfect for a wedding.  Katherine’s mom, sister and best friends pampered her as she got ready.  Everyone kept telling her how beautiful she looked.  Her smile barely left her face the entire time.

They decided to keep things traditional so the first time Schuyler saw her was when she was walking down the aisle.  His hand covered his mouth before he wiped a tear from his eye.  They had a full Mass in the gorgeous St. Mary’s Cathedral with a ribbon wand exit & a getaway car awaiting their departure.

We drove to Old Town for some pictures to represent the true downtown Wichita vibes before heading to the reception.  The reception took place at Wichita Brewing Company and was all decked out in greenery and hints of modern metallic geometric shapes.

They went non-traditional at their reception by having the DJ announce them first.  After they got to the head table, they each announced their wedding party members with cute, personalized intros to show them their appreciation for being a part of their wedding day.

Katherine’s sister toasted with a slideshow of memories of their childhood and you could tell she and Katherine were fighting back tears.  Schuyler’s brother shared a few, fun stories of them growing up together.

They kicked off the party like rockstars!  Their wedding party showered them in confetti as they ended their first dance in a romantic, dip kiss.

Schuyler & Katherine,
The two of you smile so easily around each other.  It’s easy to see just how much love there is shared between the two of you.  I hope you will have a lifetime of memories that will bring those smiles to your faces. Thank you for having me be a part of your love story!  Here’s a little sneak peek into your best day ever!

Yours Truly,

Schuyler has been getting Katherine Pug items ever since they’ve been together.  She doesn’t like Pugs at all.

So of course, it had to make it into their wedding day somewhere.

Black and white bridals will forever be a favorite of mine!

We had to sneak away for a couple of photos with the getaway car during the reception.

Nothing says get the party started like popping confetti.  <3

Don’t forget to spread the love!  If they receive 30 unique *public* shares of the Facebook post, they’ll receive an 8×10 Fine Art print of their favorite photo.  <3

"All you need is love. But a little chocolate now & then doesn't hurt."

"In old films, whenever a girl would get seriously kissed, her foot would just kind of...pop. "
