Alex and Kate are two souls that couldn’t be more meant for one another.
Alex was so excited to marry Kate. He couldn’t stop smiling and talking about her. So it was no surprise that when they shared their first look that he got a little choked up as he walked to her and embraced her.
I could tell they needed to step away from everyone that day so I asked them if they’d be ok shooting wedding party and family photos after the ceremony so they could have time alone together. They both looked so happily to each other as they walked into the house to sneak away for time alone.
The ceremony took place in a small valley where guests walked down stone steps to the site. Sunlight danced behind the trees on the hill and showered the couple with a soft glow that was beyond romantic. They braided ropes together as a sign of uniting themselves together with Christ in the center of their marriage. After their first kiss, they both cheered as they walked together as husband and wife.
Their head table was one of a kind. Greenery cascaded from the window as their backdrop and dusty pink velvet Mr. & Mrs. chairs sat on one side with their wedding party encircling the rest of the table. During toasts, her father made a tribute to his marriage and Kate’s mother made a heart while having the absolute sweetest look on her face.
After gently feeding cake to each other, their wedding party lined up outside to greet them with confetti popping as they walked to the dance floor for their first dance. There was so much joy & laughter in everyone’s hearts as Alex swirled and carried Kate across the floor. Afterwards, they shared dances with their parents that were sweet enough to make anyone wipe a tear from their eyes.
Alex & Kate,
I cannot tell you how honored I am that you chose me to be part of your love story. The two of you are just so kind-hearted and the love you share wraps around you effortlessly. I am so excited for you on this new journey! I hope you both had an absolute blast on your honey moon ! Enjoy this sneak peek into your amazing day. 🙂
This is one of my favorite venues because the ceremony and dancing take place outside with only dinner being inside. Get ready for some GORGEOUS images. If every wedding took place this way, it’d make my heart skip a beat. <3
