Romantic Storytelling, Fine Art Wedding Photographer

That look.  You know the one I’m talking about.  The one where the love of your life looks into your eyes and it seems as if the entire world around you melts away.  The one that takes you back to your first date and how you felt butterflies as he pulled you in for your first kiss.  The one that warms your heart on the coldest of days.  That look is the one AJ gave Leah every chance he had.

Leah walked from a distance for their first look.  She told me she wasn’t sure she could hold herself together.  I knew that AJ was feeling the same way.  I had seen him taking deep breaths just moments before I walked over to help her with her dress.  As she called for him to turn around, his breath was completely taken away and emotions took over the both of them.  They walked to one another and just held each other closely.  Enjoying the familiar warmth of each other’s arms.

This was my first spring wedding of the 2019 season and it couldn’t have complimented spring more beautifully.  From the back of their brightly, watercolored invitations to the gorgeous spring bouquet and the white walls with flowing curtains of the Farms at Woodend Springs.

I think it’s important for couples to spend alone time on their wedding day and Leah & AJ had the opportunity to wander around their reception hall and just enjoy time with one another before heading to the ceremony.  So often, couples are running around hugging and greeting friends and family that they lose track of time and miss out on experiencing the day with each other.  If you are getting married, definitely remember to carve out 10 minutes to be alone.  It’s one thing I wish I would have done on my own wedding day.

AJ & Leah,
It was an absolute pleasure working with you and an honor to be part of  your love story.  I am so excited for this journey in your life and cannot wait to see where life takes you in the years to come.  I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek as I finish up your images.

Yours Truly,

Their flower girls were just the cutest!
