Romantic Storytelling, Fine Art Wedding Photographer

Where do I even begin?  Taylor and Jack are two of the kindest people I’ve ever met.  Their hearts and souls seem to be made for each other.

They got ready at 21 C Museum art hotel in Kansas City, Missouri.  The hotel museum was the perfect setting for prepping for a wedding from it’s natural light filled rooms to it’s white walls and modern elegant flair.  Taylor’s mom and sister helped her into her dress.  The rest of the bridesmaids waited patiently for the big reveal.  Their love and support didn’t fail as Taylor walked into the room, looking as beautiful as ever.  Immediately rushing to her and embracing her in a group hug.

Jack opened a gift from Taylor and was so excited to see a fine watch that he “had a feeling” he would be getting.  He decided to sport it for the day and it looked perfect with his suit.  In just a few moments, he would be seeing his future wife during their first look and you could tell he was beaming with anxiousness.

He waited with his back to her as she approached him.  He turned around and took a step backwards in awe before hugging her.  She twirled around and let him have a good look of her ensemble. He couldn’t stop telling her just how beautiful she was and how lucky he is. They shared a few private minutes together before heading around downtown KC for the must-have wedding day locations this time of year.

Their ceremony looked absolutely breathtaking in the church.  A beautiful archway decorated the altar.  The archway was actually built from pieces of wood from her grandparent’s barn.  What a wonderful piece of family love to include on the wedding day!

Before heading into the reception, the couple went on the rooftop of the Black on Burlington venue for some drop dead gorgeous lighting.

The couple shared a romantic first dance as husband and wife.  Taylor and her father shared some joyful and memorable tears as he danced with his little girl who is now all grown up.  Jack twirled his mother around the dance floor and lots of smile filled the room.

It was a beautiful day with a more perfect night to end it all.
