I don’t think I’ve ever come across two hearts that were more perfect for each other.
Hannah & Tate were both filled with so much excitement
on their wedding day and the way that they look into each other’s eyes.
From gold sparkles everywhere to a Rolls Royce getaway car and a love that should be in a fairytale–Disney should be taking notes.
The day took place at Noah’s Event Venue in Wichita, Kansas. It was my first time being there and it definitely did not disappoint. It is an elegant venue perfect for a black tie wedding. There were so many beautiful details to this wedding. From the gold beading on the back of her dress to the gold name plates.
Hannah, her bridesmaids and her mom got ready in their adorable floral robes. Confetti throwing may have occurred to celebrate the occasion. As they helped her into her gorgeous, custom dress, you could see even more excitement build on Hannah’s face. Her mom did the finishing touches to the gown and looked at her daughter with nothing but love and joy.
Tate & the groomsmen joked around as they got ready. A lot of laughs that made for fun memories filled the venue. Tate’s ensemble complimented hers perfectly. And of course, he was wearing socks that said, “Mr. Right” on them.
They exchanged gifts with their parents and each other. We had to play it strategically so they wouldn’t see each other before the ceremony. Every gift brought forth more tears of joy. Each note read, an eye that would be dabbed.
As Hannah walked down the aisle, it was hard for Tate to see her at first. But as she came down the center aisle and got closer, he flashed her his dashing smile and she looked back at him with a sparkle in her eyes. The ceremony was focused on the love for one another and for Christ. They said their vows, exchanged rings and did a wine box ceremony. As they walked back down the aisle as the newest Mr. & Mrs., Tate pulled her in for another kiss and the applause roared.
Guests then headed to cocktail hour where lovely hors d’oeuvres surrounding a stunning heart ice sculpture. A giant pinata hung for guests to place well wishes, encouragement and wise words in. A fun photo booth was set up for guests to take home a souvenir.
Their entrance to the reception was one for the books. Tate pulled out Hannah’s chair and then leaned in for a kiss. As the toasts were made, they shared more laughter. They fed cake to one another politely, shared a criss cross toast and then turned to everyone for cheers. They shared a grand finale dip kiss in their first dance before sharing a special moment with their parents on the dance floor.
