Romantic Storytelling, Fine Art Wedding Photographer

Christmas is by far my favorite holiday.  The joy and magic it brings into the household makes it memorable.

Buddy, the Elf on the Shelf, hides away sneakily around our home.  He leaves notes to the girls encouraging them to clean their rooms, be nice to each other and even eats their Christmas cookies they make!

Our home is where we spend the most time and I want it to always feel warm and welcoming to our friends and family.

We celebrate the birth of our Savior who has done so much more for us than we deserve.

Here is a look into our home during the most wonderful time of the year.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Yours Truly,

Our Gingerbread Village is my favorite decoration.  We’ve had all of this from years back when I used to shoot Santa minis instead of weddings.  I don’t know why I never thought of utilizing it all until this year.  But I LOVE how cute it is.

Each stocking was made with my love.  Except mine, of course! My mom started the tradition and I’m continuing it.  🙂
This Mikasa Love Story china set was my very first big purchase I ever made.  We were broke, broke when we first got married but after we bought our house, I knew we’d start hosting holidays and parties and I wanted the perfect china set.  The hearts have my heart.
When I asked Casey to hang all of these pictures a few years ago, he named this his Stairway to Heaven.  I thought it was super sweet.
So. Stinking. Cute. Do you like the Santa hat the girls put on our tv? 😀
You wouldn’t believe that I found all of these adorable decorations at Dollar General, would you?  The Merry Christmas sign came from Hobby Lobby a few years back.
I don’t know why, but I am OBSESSED with vintage red trucks and Christmas trees this year!
This nativity set was the first decoration we bought.  We used to keep it on our window seat display but I think the living room is much better to help us remember the meaning of Christmas more.
The girls hung up all the ornaments themselves. <3
My fave ornament on the tree.  Our first family ornament.  🙂
We started a new tradition last year.  We made openable ornaments so that we can write a letter to each other.  On Christmas Day, we get to read the letters from last year!
One of my fave ornaments.  <3  We got it the year we got married.
I think there’s something about a train around the tree that makes it more magical for the kids.  Add in Mickey Mouse and it’s about as magical as it can get.
We want to wish you a Merry Christmas!
