Romantic Storytelling, Fine Art Wedding Photographer

Just a boy from New Jersey and a girl from Kansas whose lives brought them to New York so they could find their happily, ever after.

The day couldn’t have been more beautiful for a wedding.  The fall weather blessed them with sunshine and warmth.
Kassidy got ready upstairs in the church while Warren was downstairs.  They were literally just steps away from each other so we had to be careful that they never crossed paths.  Kassidy’s mom and sister helped her into her dress and she did a reveal with her bridesmaids afterwards.  Everyone had huge smiles on their faces before embracing her in a group hug.

Warren shared that he wasn’t nervous except he was worried something would go wrong.  But it was a picture-perfect wedding day and as soon as he saw his stunning bride walking down the aisle, I think every ounce of worry went away.

Kassidy’s father escorted her to the altar with a proud smile and possibly the fighting back of a few happy tears.  Warren locked eyes with Kassidy and his emotions showed so much love towards her. They shared their vows, exchanged rings and shared their first kiss as husband and wife.

Before heading over to the country club, Kassidy and her father stopped in front of the doors that were a special part of her family’s history with her grandfather.  She had also gifted a special tie to her dad with a sweet message and a photo of them together when she was a little girl.

Kassidy’s love for history was displayed first with their wedding invitations and the props she provided me with but the reception details really tied the Victorian style wedding all together in a pretty bow.  From tables and centerpieces named after Presidents, places in history and places in their love story.

The spotlight dances commenced.  Warren and his mom went first and had some fun on the dance floor.  Kassidy’s father then escorted her to the floor and pulled her in close before twirling her around and around.  So many emotions showing.  Father/daughter dances always have me tearing up, reminiscing on my own wedding day.  Everyone could tell just how much he loves his not so little girl.

Following, Kassidy and her stepfather sang a duet.  Warren surprised everyone by joining in on his Saxophone.

It was the perfect way to start the night off!

Warren & Kassidy,
I cannot believe that it has already been almost two weeks since you said, “I do.” I am honored that you chose me to be a part of your beautiful love story.  The two of you are perfect for one another.  It was so nice to see you both smile so easily when around each other.  I hope you had a fantastic time on your honeymoon and enjoy this little sneak peek into your wedding day.  🙂

Yours Truly,
Sara
