Romantic Storytelling, Fine Art Wedding Photographer

It was the perfect day–partly cloudy, warm and breezy.  Josh and his groomsmen got ready in the church just down the hall from

where Morgan and her bridesmaids were.  You could feel the excitement building as the ceremony time came closer and closer.  It was almost time.  Morgan shared a first look with her father before they walked down the aisle together.  A huge smile and then emotions filled him as he saw his baby girl grow up right before his eyes.

Josh stood at the altar, looking towards his parents so that he wouldn’t see Morgan until she entered the room.  Once the doors opened, he fought back tears for a moment before looking into her eyes.  At that moment, they both relaxed and smiles came to their faces.  The ceremony wasn’t a full Mass but the presence of Christ blessing their marriage was strong.  They shared a unity candle ceremony, exchanged vows and rings before being announced as husband and wife.  Josh pulled his bride in for a kiss and they were greeted by bubbles as they exited the church.

One request Josh had for photos was to have a dinosaur chasing them.  So of course, we stopped by the park so we could get the perfect running from a T-Rex shot.

The reception took place at The Venue at Madison Avenue Central Park.  Rustic chic vibes filled the room.  The couple came in with high energy and Josh dipped her on the dance floor.  A wonderful pasta bar by Blue Moon Caterers was provided for dinner.  A slideshow of the two of them growing up and then meeting each other played towards the end of the meal. After stepping outside for some golden hour photos, a grand wedding march led the couple to the dance floor where they shared their first dance as Mr. and Mrs.  Everyone had a blast forming the circles and dancing around the couple and even posed for the camera along the way.
