Lexi is a nurse in Kansas City and David plays professional baseball for the Miami Marlins Organization. Long distance can be hard on a relationship but these two seem to have a love for each other that makes the long distance seem like a home run away.
I woke up to an email from David just a few days before their engagement session. I had only met Lexi & her mom during our consult.
He wrote, “Lex is the life of my party. She brings the energy and laughter to my life and is my favorite thing to look at. That’s the one thing in this session that I really want- some shots of her just being herself (which is impossible for her to not be).”
I think they both bring energy and laughter into each other’s lives. The way they can be themselves so easily. The laughs, the cuddles and the sweet way they fall into each other.
Lexi has always wanted to go ice skating at the Kansas City Crown Center Plaza. So one day, David told her they were heading there for a date night. They never made it there. As they left their apartment, pictures of the two of them were posted on trees and candles lit the walkway. Her best friends hid in the bushes to take pictures as he got down on one knee, roses in his hands, and popped the question. After that, he threw her a surprise engagement party! What a catch-er!
Their beautiful clean and green wedding will be taking place at Exploration Place in Wichita, KS next October and is sure to be one for the books!
Lexi & David,
You two have been so sweet since we met and I am truly honored to be a part of your love story. I can’t wait to see where the wedding takes us in 2018 and what your life together holds. Congratulations again! I hope you love this little sneak peek into your session!
